By popular request, we include a price list in every newsletter to make it easy for you to do your meal planning based on what we have. I try to keep it updated on new items and sold out items yet sometimes these things change so fast.
We are pleased to expand the availability of locally produced meat from our farm and other sustainable growers. Give us a call and let us help you make the choices that best meet the need of your family.
Let us know if you need a wholesale or retail price list (naturally raised or our new locally raised price list). Call (765) 324-2161.
Newly processed this week…..We have been fast at work processing fresh pork raised on pasture and fed organic grains. These pigs never recieved any antibiotics or growth promoters, just all the good stuff. Garden leftovers, and milk are some of their favorites. Pigs are an omnivore so they need variety in their diet. Raising them in confinement on just two main grain sources as is standard in the industry won’t allow for the best possible meat. We are processing lots of pasture raised poultry. Again, like pork, chickens are an omnivore and need that variety they can only find by being outside on greens for the most nutrient dense meat you can find. Now is the time to get your bulk meat orders in to fill your freezer before winter. We pledge to do the “chicken dance” through the processing room every time we hear of a customer buying a freezer so that they can support local farms and feed their families the best meats possible. Enjoy knowing you are part of the fun at This Old Farm.
