These are the pastured pork cheeks on a hog. We take these cuts, cure them, smoke them, then thickly slice them. They are tasty addition to any recipe.
Each package contains 1 lb. of jowl bacon.
Note on Curing: All of our cured products use celery juice powderâ€”a mixture of sea salts and celery powderâ€”as the curing agent. We use this instead of sodium nitrite or nitrates. Now you can eat cured products guilt free!
