CSA Update

This week your share included:

Mixed baby lettuces, Butternut squash, Acorn Squash, Dragon Lanagerie Beans, Kale, Tomatoes (both red and green), Peppers (both sweet and hot), and Baby Cabbage.

With the threat of frost on Monday, many things were harvested just in case in small form.  It is time to enjoy fried green tomatoes.   Enjoy the last days when a fresh salad can be accompanied by sauteed vegetables for a light dinner.  The growing season is quickly coming to a close.

We had a change in staffing on the farm as Angela moved back home.  We will miss her!  If you have any problems with your share ever let me know.  Sergio has packed before and I always check but I thought I’d mention the change just in case.

The Brisk feeling of fall is officially here.  We hope you enjoy the last weeks of your produce share.  We greatly enjoy growing for you!

Please Note:  Due to a hectic season with little advertising time, class attendance has dropped off.  We have decided to cancel the last few weeks of class.  We have appreciated the involvement we have had.
